I’m documenting simple computer based tips and hacks on twitter now: http://twitter.com/onelinehacks. I often run into simple commands or tools that are incredibly useful. But I also spend too much time trying to track them down, when I want to use them again. The time spent searching for the tip often outweighs the time saved by it. Thus was born onelinehacks. It has already been handy 5 or 6 times since its inception. And twitter’s 140 character limit is the perfect constraint for what constitutes a one line hack and what doesn’t.
